Contributor Prizes

We are very keen to encourage quality contributions from individuals and experts, right across the different sections of our site and to encourage this a little further, we’d like to tell you about our Contributor Prizes.

 

What Can You Win?

Each month, we are giving away the following for the best published editorial submission:

• £100 for 1st Prize
• £50 for 2nd prize

In addition, we have 2 x £10 prizes for the most intelligent, insightful or useful comments left after an article.

For the main two prizes, we’ll also provide you with a certificate, which, along with the prize, will be a very nice addition to your CV.

 

Best Editorial

Each month, just after month end, we will look at the published pieces provided by contributors and judge them using the following criteria:

• Quality of the writing
• Calibre of the conclusions & reflections
• Usefulness of the article
• How thought-provoking it was
• How editorially unbiased you managed to be – you can (should) still have strong opinions though!

So, if an article is about say working in a foreign country, we’ll look for how well you picked pertinent and interesting things to share, as well as how useful your advice was e.g. immigration/work permit requirements, along with what you felt you got out of the experience.

You don’t need to submit your article specifically for a prize as we’ll look at all of them anyway.
